Is it too early to start drinking?

Ds went to bed screaming last night. Dd woke up this morning screaming and hasn't stopped yet.

So, I went to sleep with the sound of screaming and I woke to it again this morning. It's enough to put me in a super pissy mood.

To add injury to insult we're out of coffee for me and milk for the kids. I have a ton of errands to do today (including to go get some baby Tylenol for Miss Screamer because I don't know what else to try) that I don't look forward to doing with two whiny, crying kids. Standing in line at the post office to mail a package should be a blast too.

I would give anything for a nanny and a drink right now.

  • It's never too early to drink, hence the mimosa Stick out tongue
  • Or a bloody Mary. :)

This was my thought as well.  I hope your day gets better.

  • That sucks.  I hope your day gets better.  On your way to buy milk, stop at the liquor store.

  • I'm sorry J.  I have some Oberon that I'm not drinking, want it? I hate the stuff lol

  • I don't even drink, plus I'm pregnant, and I was asking myself the same question this morning.

Can you leave ASAP to do your errands and get some coffee?  I always find it a little more relaxing to do that stuff first thing in the morning because there are no crowds (especially the post office).  Although, I don't have two kids yet either, so it may not make a difference to you!

    Hope your day gets better!

  • On days like this, no!  I am sorry that things are so crappy.  Hope the little ones feel better quick.

PS - The USPS does a pick up service.  Go to the website and check it out.  It is free!!
