Q if you were on meds for ppd while bfing ...

What were you on and what side effects did you experience, if any.  I'm hopefully going to the doctor today.

    Prozac, started 2w before I had DS.

    I was tired.  A lot.  Not sure how much was from BFing and how much from the Prozac.  And sex?  We didn't have any.  Seriously, twice in 12months after I had DS.  But again, bfing does that to me, too.

    I'm glad I took them.  Very glad.  I was on the lowest rx dose, I think 10mg a day?

    Wellbutrin with a script for Lexapro that I never filled because I weaned DD anyway. ?No side effects on Wellbutrin that I'm aware of. ?Lexapro has major sexual side effects for me so I only took it in the past when absolutely necessary. ?It works wonders for depression though.??

    Zoloft is considered the first line of defense for PPD while BFing - has a low plasma transfer rate (or something like that) :) - also has been tested/evaluated the most :)
