I haven't looked into them too much, but just wanted to let you know that Baby Bargains rated Delta an F because of a huge recall in 2008 after two babies died from suffocation when the side rails detached, and they also had high levels of lead paint.
We bought a Delta crib and love it so far (no baby in it yet though). It took about an hour to assemble, but it is incredibly sturdy and heavy which makes me feel pretty secure.
We bought one and love it so far, of course we don't have a baby in it yet haha. The recall was for the beds with the drop sides, and they're taking all those off the market and replacing them with the none drop sides. (at least from what I know) After doing some research it seemed like the only complaints were about the drop sides so as long as you don't get that you should be fine.
we have a delta martinique crib 2006. with a drop side. we love it. convertible crib so right now it is in the daybed mode. i have no idea if it was in a recall or not. it was easy to assemble for dh and came with a matching dresser/changing table combo. also for us bru said it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery and it was here in like 3! bonus! i have no complaints! would not rate it an F that is for sure. it gets and A at our house.
I had really liked the Delta Canton at Target. However, I was really disappointed when I saw the reviews of Delta in Baby Bargains. It gets an F, which is obviously the worst rating, because of massive recalls that they've had over the last few years. I just couldn't get myself comfortable with Delta after reading that.
We ended up getting one from Baby Mod (Million Dollar Baby) at Walmart. It was a little cheaper and it had way better reviews.
