Myrtle Beach

We are planning a trip down to Myrtle Beach at the end of next month. Does anyone have any suggestions of things to do or stay with a four year old? Thanks!!

We go down every year but DD was only 3 months and 1 year the past two years we went so we haven't sought out a ton of kid's activities. Our families always rent a house down there (usually right outside Myrtle, usually Surfside or Garden City - they're slightly south). We always do Broadway at the Beach - it's like a little Boardwalk with shops and restaurants. The Ripley's Aquarium is right there too - we took DD last year, from what I remember it was a little pricey but she loved it. They also have a few smaller amusement parks down there and a water park (but who needs a water park with the beach right there?).
