Why is belle taking a break?  Did she post and say that she was or are we just assuming that she is?

I think femme posted that belle had not gotten it yet, maybe in sbdc's post?  but that she had talked to BM.

The whole thing has gotten so ridiculous at this point.

This. And, supposedly Belle posted asking everyone to stop the "witch hunt" and then DD'd. She later came back and said she was "taking a break." Rumor on the street is that she has not received the GCs yet.

I agree.  It has gotten a little crazified.  But, for those of us that had no clue as to what was going on... I guess we're just trying to figure it all out.  Not trying to beat a dead horse.  And, I do feel bad/sad for belle.  I can see how she may be embarrassed or mad that all this has gone on.

Oh I totally understand why people want to know what's going on.

I just think the situation in general has gotten way out of hand - more than it needed to. 

And I really thought cubby's post about the indignation on behalf of BM was spot on.

Ok, I'm only replying here b/c I came on to say I got the gift. I decided it was best to take a break b/c I was getting too worked up over things related to an internet message board. I realize I spend way too much time here. I really do have a lot going on with work, buying this house and taking care of A and need to focus on all of that. Yes, I was bothered by the whole gift-hubbub and yes I called it a witch hunt b/c that's what it seemed like. I don't like drama and confrontation at all so it just all got under my skin. No hard feelings really. This (break) is just long overdue. Take it for what you will.
