Bella Silver? bad choice?

So I've always loved the name silver, but i'm not sure if it would matter if it's a middle name since my last name is miner.

Bella Silver Miner

She won't be called by her middle name unless she chooses and the usually don't announce both at school when the teacher calls roll right?  so i'm pretty sure any teasing over "silver miner" wouldn't be an everyday issue.  And Silver is on the list of "names that children love to have"

Personally, I would stay away from MNs of metals since your last name is miner.  Sorry, but the name made me giggle.  Bella ____ Miner is sweet though!

Very bad choice. Silver is on a list of names that children want to have? I wouldn't want my name to be Silver and my last name isn't Miner!

I don't like Silver as a name at all.  Especially because your last name is Miner.  The teacher may not announce her middle name at roll call, but on graduation day they sure will.  Don't do that to your child.

She will never want to use her middle name for anything because silver miner sounds funny, so it would be a total waste of a name, IMO. I use my middle name all the time. It would be a shame to have a name I'd be afraid to use.

maybe i married the wrong man...lol the names i've had picked out since high school are silver for a girl and colton (cole) for a boy...seriously how is this even possible...

I know it stinks to want to use a name and it sound ridiculous with your last name! I've always wanted to name my son Reed because this is my mothers maiden name and I'm really close to my Granny and Papa Reed but my new married last name is Music....So Reed Music sounds like your saying someone can Read Music....My husband jokes that we should name our baby Rock if its a boy. But I think not!! haha

I don't like that your first, middle and last name all end with the same sound.When I say all three together out loud it doesn't really sound that great.

I would avoid metals for names if I were you, sorry.

I wouldn't do it bc of the last name.  How about "tweaking" Silver a bit so it's not so metallic?

Sylvia, Silvana, Siler? IDK, but Bella is a great name.  Two thumbs up for that one.

it sucks that you like the name and your last name is miner. honestly, i would not do it. people act like middle names are secret and nobody ever knows what they are but they do and i just think that's teasing waiting to happen.

I absolutely adore the name Bella, but Silver has to go....I started laughing myself when I said it outloud...I think that Bella and Miner will go much better with something else and she does have to live with that name until she gets married...GL!

Defintely no on the Silver. Stay away from metallic names!   It's just sounds silly IMO.   Think of it this way: if your last name was Combs would you pair something like Honey with it? Probably not for the exact same reason.

In addition to the silver miner comment, Bella Silver to me harkens "Silver Bells."

I would stay away from Silver, period, with your last name, but especially with Bella.

Bella Miner is cute.

Which list are you reading that claims Silver is a name folks are proud of/love having? Honestly, Silver sounds like it could be a...ahem....*stage* name if anything. I'm also thinking how funny that would look on a resume AND when that poor girl is 70.........

Heck, when she's 7, too. A first grader named Silver? I think it's important you pay attention to your new last name and accomodate for that.

I wish I loved Bella but I really don't for a human I've known too many wonderful pets named Bella so it doesn't fit for me. Sorry!

no on Silver. Especially with your last name, that's just settirng her up to be made fun of later. Trust me my madien name was made fun of all the time and it got old QUICK
