Thank you Gap for making maternity clothes that do not look like moo-moo's.
During a frustrating trip to the mall, I was having an identity crisis in the fitting rooms of the maternity sections.
The motherhood store had ill-fiting clothing made of cheap fabrics. Everything made me look like a beached whale. I just about hyperventalated.
Old Navy had a very small maternity section with a few yoga pants, some jeans that were not long enough, and some moo-moo shirts. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
Then oh the Gap. Heaven on Earth. Clothes that were stylish and well-made. Cute jeans, cute work pants, adorable sweaters and tees..... and all fit my 5'9" frame so well. The salesgirl was so helpful and said that the goal of Gap Maternity is to make clothes that you would wear even if you weren't pregnant.
Thank you Gap.
Re: Thank you Gap Maternity. Review of Maternity Clothes.
ON in-store selection does suck, you should try them online. Almost every piece of mat clothing I have I have ordered from them. I hate those moo-moo shirts, too, and I definitely don't have any of those!
I think I'm the only one that had a good experience at motherhood! Sorry you didn't, but glad you found stuff you love!
