How do their personalities differ? What are their similarities?

I know this is not going to give me any indication of how DS#2 will differ from DS#1 but I am very curious.

It is so hard for me to imagine what this boy will look and be like! ??

My kids look very similar but DD is girly looking (shinier eyes and lips and long eye lashers.)  But DD is so easy going but yet more active moving around ALL the time.  Not sure if it is a boy/girl thing or #1/#2 thing.

I have 2 boys that look completely opposite and have 2 very different personalities in every way.  It surprised me how different they really are.

This. My boys couldn't be any more different than they are.

My girls seem VERY different to me, but in reality, they are more alike than different....here are the differences that I notice:

T: very sensitive, cries at the drop of a hat, motherly, takes care of everything, likes to help, total people please-er (sp??), she's more quiet and afraid of new settings/situations.

A:not as sensitive, but more emotional, if that makes sense.....where T gets sad and cries about things, A goes from 0-100 in 2 seconds and back to 0 again.  More rough and tumble, loves to do new things, probably won't cry her first day of school.  She wears dresses almost every day, not because she is girly, but more for the freedom they give her, legs hanging out, easy to use the restroom etc.  Whereas T is more girly and likes to coordinate her clothes and makes a big deal of looking pretty.

but everyone who meets them thinks they are exactly the same....I think its easier for parents to spot the differences because we don't want them to be exactly the same, but for strangers...they are related, they have the same parents applying the same rules and they are both pretty much the same.

It's fun though!

And M...my son....well, he also seems like his own person....all boy, in a lot of ways more like A. but rougher and in some ways like T...he is a total momma's boy.

I have two little boys.  Everyone says that they look exactly alike when they were both little/newborns.  They're about 18-20 months apart.  The oldest one when he was younger was more calm, slept very well right when he was born...laid back.  The second one...the more naugthy risk taker.  He hardly slept when younger and now that he is one sleeps more/longer.  The second one was always more active in my belly and more active now also.

My girls have similarities, but they are mostly very different.  Both have very distinctive eyes of the same color and they do very much look like sisters- no mistaking that.  That's pretty much where it ends.  #1 is my drama queen- was a horrible sleeper as a baby & is more high maintenance in general. #2 is much more easygoing, more generous- she was also my much better sleeper.  Oh, and #2 is almost as big as her sister already, who is very tiny & they are over 2 years apart. But they were almost the exact same size at birth. 

It is great being able to pass down & use a lot of the same clothes. Sometimes due to size or season you miss out, but we got to reuse a ton of stuff.  It's great having 2 of the same gender- enjoy!

Um - obviously look alike.  But TOTALLY different.

One is totally girly-girl and emotional.  The other more of a tomboy.
