We live 4 blocks from New Seasons and I would like to walk with the baby to the grocery store but the
stroller I have, the basket underneath is not the easiest to get stuff in and out of, and doesn't have a ton of room... Is there a stroller you ladies could suggest? Thank you!
Re: Stroller suggestions?
Good question.
How much room do you want? You wanna be able to do real grocery shopping and just use a stroller? I dunno if you're going to find much that's going to work, but I guess that depends on how much you need to get in there. I used a Graco stroller (travel system) with my daughter and it had probably enough room for a fairly small shopping trip.
Honestly, that's a pretty good sized basket compared to most strollers. My stroller (Kolcraft Contours 3 wheel) has a huge basket and is very easy to get stuff in and out of. I would say it's about the same size as your basket though.
What about walking down there with baby in a Bjorn and shopping that way? That's what I do, and it's worked really well for me so far. Then you could load all your groceries into your stroller and push it back home...?
This. We were impressed by the baskets on the Kolcraft strollers. But either way, you're not going to get anything big enough for a major store trip. If I go to the store, I either walk with the stroller and carry a basket or wear DD in the Ergo, (or I just pick up a few small items and put them in the basket of our SNG).
