I searched and could not find where anyone had asked this question recently. I would like to get maternity pictures done but need some suggestions on a photographer. Thanks ladies!
I will be using Sara with SDS Photography for my maternity photos. She did our son's 2 yr. photos last October and I was very pleased! She is also a fellow Nestie.
One of our recent moms had gorgeous pictures done by BluDoor Studios - www.bludoor.com
LOVE your cattle dog - he (or she) has beautiful colors! I'm a sucker for cattle dogs, they are so sweet and SMART!
cattle dogs are SMART. My last baby, Copper, was red heeler. The most obedient dog ever.
I love that about them - my little guy (he was part cattle dog, part mini Aussie Shepherd so he was fluffy and little) and he was just the best. I loved that he would watch me for commands, it was great. Sometimes the herding was a little annoying, but Honey does that too so I'm used to it. T doesn't like to be herded yet though, heh.

My brother and nephew are visiting right now and Gracie was trying to herd him last night. She was nipping has his heels while he was running through the house. She is a really sweet dog. She just needs to learn to start sleeping on the floor. There is not enough room for all of us in the bed.
My cousin does photography. But she hasn't expanded to maternity shots yet but is working on her portfolio. So she is offering free shots (just pay for prints) so that she can add to her portfolio. She is great and I can send you a link of her work if you'd like. I posted a few weeks ago with some of the shots she did of my newest DD. I'll post a link in this thread later!
I just had mine this morning with Deena Riley. I am new to the area and had searched around via this board and google and found her prices to be the best for the type of package I was looking for. I ended up doing the "baby's first year" package, but switched the 3 month shoot for a maternity. We went to the Dallas Arboretum and it was such a beautiful setting. I obviously haven't seen any photos yet, but I can say that she was great to work with!

Yes, Fletchie was a bed hog too, despite his size. He lives with my ex-BF now and I've not seen him for a couple of years; I really miss him sometimes. Gracie is darling, I love her sweet grin!
