ice pads...where to find?

I had a CS, so it wasn't an issue, but my friend is due in 5 weeks and I was telling her how it was one of the things that was recomended...the ice pack pads for if you delivery naturally. Where do you find them? Or what is the name?

TIA I told her to just take a bunch from the hospital

I bought some from a medical supply company on amazon.com.  The shipping was reasonable and they were shipped really fast.  In the end I had a c-section so I gave them to the friend that had told me to get them since she was pregnant with #2.  All during my pregnancy she had told me to get them because her husband was calling everywhere looking for them when she got out of the hospital with #1.

You can get them in the First Aid section of Drugstore.com.

Tell her to steal a ton from the hospital!

My hospital gave them to me.  I asked for more and got them.  But, I was also instructed by the nurses that they should only be used for the first 24 hours after delivery.  After that time they can actually impede the healing process.
