Baby portraits

I'm trying to think ahead with monthly portraits. We have a Picture People and JCPenney's around here that I could go to. Who does everyone recommend?

We went to Portrait Innovations when L was 6 days old.. we will be going there again for her 3mo pics.

I've heard good things about both.

Also, you might consider posting an ad at a local college. Alot of student photographers do amazing work, and usually do it for free to up their portfolios.

We took dd to Kiddie Kandids this past weekend.

I really liked how they turned out too.

We are getting pro newborn pics taken next week but I don't necessarily need pro pics every month.

I think it depends on your area.  I like Picture People around here, but I also don't even know if JCP near me does portraits.  I also think it totally depends on the photographer that is there that day.  I think you'd probably get the best recommendation from someone around you who had gone to one of those studios.

We have only gone to Sears and they do a good job.  We keep going there because they send us coupons regularly.  I think we will try Portrait Innovations for her 9 months, maybe.
