I hope you guys dont mind me popping in, I got a call from my hematologist today saying that I would be transferring to a high-risk OB and receiving IVIG, anyone experiencing something similar?
Well thank you for welcoming me, and I dont mind sharing my story.
My second daughter was born with severe thrombocytopenia of 9000 platettes and intracranial bleeding and swelling, and she was treated with IVIG but was never diagnosed in the NICU and now that I am pregnant again my dr. wants to do weekly IVIG therapy. I tried to research it but nothing really went into detail about having the therapy during pregnancy.
Re: High-Risk
Welcome to high risk
We love people who pop in and join our convo's.
I am sure someone here has had IVIG or knows someone who has. What are you taking it for? ITP? Recurrent losses? I am nosey....
