Okay - so what about $79 more a month?

I just got the exact figures from DH's health insurance and my new job.  It would be $188 for DS and I on mine.  And $267 on DH's.  The plan from my new job does not seem all that impressive.  $200 for an ER visit and higher co-pays.  I don't know.  WWYD?  Would $79 be worth keeping an OB you love. 

Also, DS has to see a pedi urologist once a year and this new plan doesn't have one in network.  I can't imagine how much that will cost out of pocket.

If you have higher copays, the $79 isn't that bad. It usually comes out of pretax money, anyway, right?

If they don't have the docs you will need in network, it would be better to go with the plan that does have them.

I would pay the extra 79 for lower co-pays and keep my own dr.
