I went to the doctor yesterday and when she measured my belly she said it was measuring quite large....and since I haven't really gained that much weight she was concerned.... She made me make another appointment for an ultrasound to check on the baby.  But, the earliest I could get an appointment is Monday.  She said it could be the baby had a big growth spurt or something else... what could the something else be??? Has this happened to anyone else?

My LO was measuring 3-4 weeks ahead, but she was just sitting high up in my abdomen.  They measure from your pubic bone to the top of your fundus, so if your fundus is high, you will measure big.

My SIL measured big and it was just extra fluid around the baby.  Baby was born a few days early after NS test and such, and she and mommy were totally fine.
