What hotel do you stay in in Vegas?

I want something on the strip, nice, but won't break the bank. Any ideas? I've only ever stayed at the Stratosphere and that was WAY too far away!

I have stayed at Flamingo, Treasure Island and Luxor.

I preferred Flamingo actually, but I am a pool whore. They have a killer pool.

We usually stay at the Venetian or Palazzo, because DH's gets free rooms. I think next time we might stay at the Wynn.

We've stayed at most of the hotels on the Strip over the years. My favorites are Paris, Venetian, , the Mirage and MGM Grand.  It depends on what you are looking for in a hotel resort(pool, gambling, nice rooms, etc).  I think that the Flamingo, the Monte Carlo, TI are nice for the lower price range, but if you shop around, there are always comparable prices at some of the nicer hotels too( MGM, Paris, Mirage)

The Monte Carlo is what we choose when we want to stay on a budget. It's affordable and cleaner/nicer then many others.

I love the flamingo, location is great, not to pricey, rooms are fine..nothing exciting but comfortable.  DH has been seeing good deals at the excalibur, but i don't like that location as much.  we also stayed at the planet hollywood hotel, liked that too/

I've only been there once but we stayed at the Monte Carlo. It was very nice, got a great deal on a room, and centrally located.

I have stayed @ Treasure island...DH goes 1 x year with 3 buddies to play golf & play poker...they usually stay @ the Bellagio (DH's friend is a high roller & gets free rooms) or the Wynn.

MGM is the only place I've stayed. My sister stayed at New York and liked it.

We stayed at the Monte Carlo in Feb and it was nice and so was the price.  We booked directly from the website and ended up with some freebies.

We just stayed at the Monte Carlo a couple weeks ago. I got a super good deal thru Travelzoo.com. Very nice hotel in a great location. We've also stayed at Harrah's, which is right in the center of the strip, but I don't remember what we paid for that.?

My cousin got married in Vegas and we stayed at the Flamingo.  Like a pp said...its right in the center of the strip and even though it's nothing special...the rooms are decent and the price is reasonable.  The pool is really nice too!
