I posted last night about Sophie having a cough and sounding "crunchy". Took her in this morning and sure enough the Dr. agreed she sounded crunchy also and gave her a nebulizer treatment right then and there. So I have to continue the treatments 3-4x a day and go back on Friday for them to check her again
Oh, and tomm. she has to get her monthly bloodwork taken for the head fluid medication. She is gonna be so pissed!

Re: Back from Pedi.
Welcome to the nebulizer club. I hope your LO appreciates the machine more than Robbie did. Though Robbie did finally accept it and chilled out.
That's good info about the 2 years thing.. *starts clock*

do you know that there is cream you can give her to put on the spot where they will be taking blood so it will numb the area? it's called EMLA cream. ask your doctor about getting a perscription for it so you can try it on her before you go in.
also, i give Rowen a lollipop about 4 seconds before they stick the needle in. it distracts him enough not to really notice what is happening.
poor thing, hope she feels better soon.
