Re: Dr. Brown's or Playtex drop-ins?
I love my drop ins. They're super easy for clean-up--no bottle brush! Also, the bag sucks in and DS doesn't get as much air as some other bottles would allow.
My BIL and SIL use Dr. Browns and their bottles leak. Also, my nephew has been super fussy since he was born. He has refulx, but that's only part of it.

It seems like it would get expensive with the bags that you have to buy. Do you find that to be the case? BTW, your son has the same outfit on as my photo!
We use the drop-ins and DD has no issues with them
I never even wanted to try the Dr. Browns (only as a last resort) because they sound like a PITA to clean.
Your trade off is cleaning vs. buying drop-ins every 2-3 weeks.
i used avent with dd and swapped to playtex for ds. i like playtex better. both of mine had reflux & playtex seems to be better in terms of gassiness / fussiness. the extra $ is worth it to me for the time savings of not having to wash as many parts. the nipples are also easier to clean because they don't have vents because of the liner.
