We haven't done this yet. I really want to get it done before we leave. For those of you who have them done, do you have a lawyer or someone to recommend?

I did ours here in CA. ?We had a lawyer do ours for us. ?We actually created a trust and a will through him.

we got as far as buying the forms online before DD was born, but this is a great nudge to actually fill them out...

My DH gets legal from his job, kinda like insurance. They sent us a little booklet to fill out and send back in. Its all filled out, we just need to send it in.

We did ours through Legal Zoom. It was very easy and not too expensive.

Us too! But we haven't figured out who we want to raise Aubrey if something were to happen.

This was our problem, but we picked who was best for the situation at the time since it would be better than having no one picked and have something happen to us. ?We can always change it as our situations change. ??

this is part of our delay too! we have picked some friends (and talked with them about it). BUT we feel like we'd need to tell the grandparents that we didn't pick any of them. we're pretty sure that will cause minor drama.

 Ugh.. we had MAJOR drama when my parents found out we chose DH's brother (and family) instead of my sister and her husband!  Of course, it didn't help that DH told them very bluntly that it isn't up for discussion and we didn't have to justify our decision to them.

We have that same problem.  There's really no close friends that we would trust T with; my sister and her DH live in Denver and I know they wouldn't let my ILs see T as much as they like to; and to be quite honest my ILs are not my first choice either.  We really need to talk about it though and get something put in place.

We also have to do this.  The person DH and I trust the most is my mother, but she already has my 2 younger sisters (3 &8)  We really need to figure this out.
