I like this name a lot...I think it's really pretty and feminine.  To me, it's definitely a Christian name because it's a Hebrew word that means "musical pause" (or something to do with music--I've heard different things...) and it's in the Psalms a million times.

How is it pronounced?

All I can think is "Sell Ah" and it reminds me of someone saying Cell Ah for either cellar or basement.

That's my friend's daughter's name. I think really it's pronounced "Say-lah," if you were saying it in Hebrew, but they call her "See-lah" for simplicity. I like it.

Looks okay but I haven't a clue how to pronounce it. My instinct is to say "Sah-lah' with the emphasis on the second syllable.
