My turn to whine

So I called the OB yesterday because I had a splitting headache and they emailed me a list of approved medications and at the bottom it said no perms or hair color until after the 1st trimester. OMG! I was already overdue for highlights but now I am seriously going to look like white trash. I had a hair appt for tomorrow after my OB appt. Wah!!! Does someone have a wig I can borrow?

I got my hair highlighted several times during my pregnancy ... not sure if it was during my first trimester though.  I remember my OB saying as long as you didn't have a lot of the chemicals actually touching your scalp it would be ok ...

boo that stinks! I had to wait until after the 1st tri too, hope it passes quickly for ya. Can't wait to hear about the dr appt!

I got my hair done when I was about 4-5 weeks pregnant before I knew. I even had a glass of wine.

LOL! I remember getting highlights too last time but I guess they weren't until after the 1st tri. I guess I'll just have to wait.

I used to bleach my hair and for SURE that stuff sat on my scalp; as far as I know T is just fine.

Well, you can eat it, you just have to hork it back up again afterward after panicking and posting about it on the Bump, hee.

Ah this bring back memories...

I could not get a relaxer in the first tri..... I had an afro by the time I could get my hair done.  It was not pretty at all, I couldn't breath, couldn't sleep, had puffy eyes and a fro....good times!
