Pregnant after a Loss

What do you do when...

You're at work and you feel like you are going to pass out. That is how I feel today. I tried eating something, then I tried drinking ice water, and now I am drinking a coke. I thought maybe the sugar would help. No dice.

Any suggestions?

  • Oh, no! I would have thought the sugar would have helped. Can you get some orange juice or some other kind of fruit juice? That might help. Have you eaten? Maybe you should eat something with sugar like graham crackers, cookies, or fruit or something.

  • Agreed w/ previous poster...Orange juice always helped.  And if you can putting your head below or even with your heart for a few minutes.  I have low blood pressure & this often happens to me, but the OJ usually helps!  Good luck!

    I do have low blood pressure. I tried some cheese crackers. Maybe I do need some protein. I might be taking an early lunch and go home for a while. eew.

  • Some protein might help and a sugary snack like others suggested.  I know that's an awful feeling.  I felt like I was stuffing my face for the first few weeks to try to make that feeling go away.  Feel better!
