How do YOU pronounce it? CarAmel or Carmel?

I know how it is spelled, but how do you say it and where are you from?

I say "carmel." and I am in the midwest.

I use both interchangeably (NorCal born & raised).  If I'm just talking about it I usually say care-uh-mel but for whatever reason I say car-mull when I am ordering a caramel frapuccino or caramel machiatto from Starbucks.

It depends on the situation.

I say car-mel apples and popcorn.

but If I am referring to just a piece of candy, I say car-a mel.
