I am so ordering this for our flight

K and I are flying to St.Louis next week, and we just can't afford to buy him his own seat. I'm not too worried since it's only a 1.5 hour flight and I'm really hoping that it won't be full. ?That being said, I don't want to haul the carseat all the way to the gate just to find out there are no extra seats. I just remembered reading about this and it looks like it's worth ever penny ($75).

It's an FAA approved 5 point harness that weighs 1 lb and attaches to the airplane seat. You can use it from 1 year and 22-44 lbs. I am so stoked that I remembered this!

I BPH you for putting this up.  I am going to be flying all over the place with my DS later this year... most trips are 3-5 hours, one is 13 and some are just the two of us.  You just saved my sanity!
