I am leaving my job because it's a miserable job and we have determined we'll be fine on DH's income....
Today they are holding interviews for my replacement and everyone that comes in, sits dow in the front lobby (where my desk is located) and the second they are alone with me, they say, "How long have you worked here?!"
First off, I think that's really rude... is it? I mean, they don't even introduce themselves to me before asking that question, rather bluntly.
I then tell them, "About a year and a half." They then ask (Everyone of them is going in this pattern... it's creepy) "Do you like it here?"
Seriously, what am I going to say, as a somewhat responsible individual? If I don't like it (which I don't!) and think that they will, in fact, quit their job within six months if they do accept work here because of the hellacious environment... do they really think I'm going to tell them?
Ugh!
