Bumped into Max's Primary nurse at the mall!

On Friday!

We've kept in touch (thank you Facebook!) but it was so great to see her in the "real world"!

I got to meet her DH and son, and I was reassured when her son kneeled down in front of Max and said "Hi Max! I'm Cam! I've seen your pictures!" I have worried that Kelly (the nurse) thinks we're weird, keeping in touch as much as we have, but knowing that she showed her kid Max's blog proves to me that we're not just creepy stalkers! LOL

(As a bonus, it was her and my birthday on Saturday, so we took cookies in to the NICU, since she was stuck at work)

that's neat! I ve considered contacting our primary nurse via FB but I didn't wanna seem like a creepy stalker. Bc I know she was just doing her job as a nurse but for us- she saved our DS. She helped us through a tough time. hmm maybe I can contact her on FB and not weird her out.

I just wanted to say that as a NICU RN, there is nothing better than being able to stay in touch with families after they leave the NICU and to see the amazing progress the little ones make.
