The job market...

suuuuucks. Ugh, I'm starting to get worried that I may not have a job by 8/14, my layoff date. I've never been in this position before, and I think the max unemployment pays is like $350 a week. Not gonna cut it. I'm used to being able to find something pretty easily, and there's not much out there, not at all.

I really, really, really don't want to drive downtown, but I guess if I have to I will. UGH.

I feel your pain, I've never been in this position before. I've always gotten the job that I've wanted. Ugghh. I hope you find something soon. Is your current company giving you a severance package??

Yeah, I'll get 7 weeks after my last day, but I would love to use that to pay off some bills. I may have to use it to get by though.
