x/p-possibly a stupid question for you ladies....

I'm going to get my progesterone checked next Saturday (Day 21) to see where my numbers are-if they're low I'll start Clomid next month.

Question-I'm pretty sure I ovulated this weekend (yesterday) so, would my numbers go way up on that progesterone test next Saturday if I were to *maybe* be pregnant?  Thanks!  : )

    Unfortunately, a CD21 progesterone test only lets you know that you ovulated and doesn't give any indication for pregnancy. I do know that doctors like to see progesterone over 10 for unmedicated cycles, and over 15 for medicated cycles. Good luck, and I hope Clomid isn't needed!

    Make sure you get the prog. test (P4) 7 days after ovulation, which may not necessarily be CD 21. For me, I ovulated always on CD 21 so the prog. test was done at CD28. If you go too soon it will show really low levels and will not be accurate. GL!
    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.
