Can a 2 month old see fireworks?

Our family usually goes to see fireworks every year & we wanted to bring our 2 month old because were not going close to where the city is launching them so he won't be scared of the booms & he loves lights so we thing he would like the fireworks.. But can he even see them yet? Or should we just wait until next year?

  • Ok, can't find it anymore. Basically the post was an article copied that said children will respond differently to fireworks. Some are sensory sensitive and the noise might bother them, and others the noise wouldn't phase them..A 20 min firework display wouldn't harm their ears anymore than an adults, so to go for it if you felt like your child could handle it..

  • We took DD to see the fireworks over cocoa beach last night...she LOVED them!  she was really excited and just stared at them the whole time.  The booms didn't scare here either.
