Big, small, true to size?

Also, do their shorts/pants have an adjustable waist?

The ladies who work at the store tell me that they run about a half size big. 

Re: adjustable waists.... usually they will with sizes 2T on up, but to be sure you should look at the individual item on line and it will list if it does.

I find them to run a little big.  Most have adjustable waist on 2t and above

I find them to run a little big-- in some cases very big. ?Bennett is 19 months and has a pair of 6-12 month shorts that are big on him. ?He is small for his age, but that would have to be one enormous baby to fit in those shorts.
