Interesting names from the zoo today...

Some of these I heard and am guessing on spelling, but some I saw embroidered on diaper bags and such so I was able to see how they were spelled. Had to share...

 boys:

Jathan (thought they were saying Jason w/a lisp at first, till I saw it written)

Ramsey

Giles

twins- Heath and Hayden

 

 

girls:

Brystal (assuming it's prn like Bristol, only spelled like Crystal w/a

Tinsley 

Kenadi (Kennedy)

 

That's all I can remember now...

Ramsey - I went to HS with a girl who had this as a surname. Maybe  it his mom's maiden?

 Giles - British surname/child of Buffy fans

My BIL is named Heath. It's the male Heather.

 

Brystal...sigh...

Tinsley I actually like, but it's not happening because then our daughter's 1st and last names would be all sing-songy rhymey.

I don't see what's weird at all about Ramsay/Ramsey, but maybe that's because it's a family name for my family, and that's my cousin's name. The others that aren't made up are fine, like Heath and Giles. But the made up ones, or the ones with uneek spellings, UGH.

Ew ew ew. The only names even remotely okay in that list are Heath and Hayden.

I didn't say any of them were weird, just interesting... I didn't mean it sarcastically. I just thought they were names we (mostly) don't hear on here that often or see spelled that way, etc. Just sharing
