Anyone going to McKinney Red, White, and Boom?

DH, Wyatt, and I are going to drive down to McK tomorrow for the 4th. We are going to make a whole day out of it. Depending on how hot it is, we may go hit up the Stonebriar Mall, but we plan on going to the parade and at least part of the car show.

This is our first 4th away from our families, so we are looking to try something fun and this sounded like it fit the bill. Just wondering if anyone else is going?

How long are you guys living in a hotel for? When my DH and I moved here from Tulsa, DS was only 2 weeks old and we lived in a hotel for 2 weeks. It sucked because it was flu season and we couldn't go anywhere and we couldn't swim because I was only 2 weeks pp. We are in the process of trying to buy a short sale in McKinney, the house though is right on the border of McK and Frisco.

We just moved to McKinney and we are thinking about going. At least for the fireworks. It sounds like a lot of fun with the live band and everything.
