Splish Splash Story Time!

Denton Water Works has Splish Splash Story Time every Friday morning from 10-10:45.  I've gone twice and it is great!  They let you in at 10, read a couple stories, sing a couple songs, and then they open the toddler area up until 10:45.  The last time I went, the kiddos had about 25 minutes or so to play in the water.  This morning, because of the 4th, there was no "story time" so they just let the kids play the entire time.  So much fun!

The best part... it is FREE   The park "opens" at 11 so they kick you out at 10:45.  If you want to stay longer, you have to exit the park, buy a ticket, and go back in.

There is no "minimum" age and there were actually a lot of small babies there just being held or sitting on the edge where the water was only an inch deep.  I totally understand if you're not comfy with it though!

I love your pictures!! We really aren't that far from Denton, I just don't normally have Fridays off. I wish I would have known before. I would have been all over that today.

I can't wait until October when I have vacation again.
