Question if you use Pampers Sensitive wipes

I just bought a package of refills (had 7 in the box) and they don't have the re-closable flap.  Have you encountered this?

I had a wriggly, poopy, crying baby and I was fighting to get the wipes open.  I was so incredibly annoyed!  I've already submitted feedback to Pampers because in my 3.5 years of buying these I've never seen this.

I'm just wondering if it was an error in a few packages or if this is a deliberate packaging change.

Nothing like a box of wipes to get a girl fired up on a Thursday night.  Stick out tongue

  • I've never had a reclosable refill package.  I always open it up and put it in the plastic container that's empty.

  • I do use those... the large box of 7 you are talking about is refils correct?  They refil the large white plastic dispenser... that doesn't come with the refil box.  HTH!

  • Me, me, me! I got a new box and none of them are resealable. Sucks! That's why I buy those because I have them all over my house and I don't want huge plastic boxes laying around. Good idea to write Pampers.
  • Yeah, my last box was like that.  I had to cut the package open with scissors and it annoyed me.  I wonder why they changed it.

I'm trying the generic brand at BJ's and I'll report back...300 more wipes for the same price as Pampers.

YES!  This is exactly what I said in my "complaint" to Pampers.  I said I have them all over my house and I'm not about to buy the tubs (which dry out the wipes anyway--especially when you are using several packages at a time around the house).

I told them if this is a permanent package change that I'll be changing brands.  It is super annoying!

  • Yep!  My newest box has the resealable top, but I've gotten them in the past and the individual packages did not have the seal. I had to just open them and put them in an empty plastic container which is what I normally do anyway, but sometimes I like to have a spare package just lying around for emergencies.  It's a major PITA.  Glad you wrote them!
