I had a really nice resume that apparently I am not meant to keep. Our computer crashed, no big deal, it was on the external hard drive, right? Wrong! That decided to burn out a couple months ago. So here I sit, searching for a new company to work for, and I find a position I am really interested in. Now I have to start it again from scratch. Any suggestions or tips on how to make it wow? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Resume help please.
I think for sure that's long enough, unless it's a specialized field and then just be honest w/ yourself about if you're truly qualified. Big bummer about your resume! Sorry. One thing I always do when I'm "touching up" my resume is I go back on the career services web sites from my college and grad school. They have tons of sample resumes posted for various fields so I can remind myself about length, formatting, buzz words, etc. There's generally no password required, so I would say to search around on some school's sites. GL in your search!
Yeah, I think it is, too. You can google resumes and see a lot of different kinds as templates. I don't really have any specific advice as to how to make it "wow" since I think that is pretty field-specific. Good luck!
And your siggy pic is completely adorable!
I would google "sample resumes" in your field. Careerbuilder.com and Monster.com have resume building programs that you can use so that you wont have to start quite from scratch. I personally like using Microsoft word's templates and dress them up as needed. HTH. GL!
