can your stretch marks rip?

I just looked down at my belly and I have a stretch mark beside my belly button that looks like it could start bleeding anytime; almost like a blood blister over it.  I haven't been scratching at it or anything, so I don't know why it would start to bleed.  Anyone else have this?

Yes I have heard of this happening. no personal experience though.

I noticed the same thing last night!  I have one on my left side that looks like a blood blister.  I couldn't figure out what I had done - I thought that maybe it was a bruise or something, but that didn't make any sense and it doesn't hurt.

Mine didnt' rip, but they looked like they were bleeding.  I just put cocoa butter on.   Didn't really help though.

I would love to know, mine look like they could rip at any time and are itchy and sore, defiantly scared they could.

I often wonder this too. Some days it looks like my tummy is gonna tear open due to the stretching. But then I remember that Octomom's stretch marks didnt rip open.

Then I feel better.
