s/o micro-chipping...

If everyone had a chip in them, this would make finding missing persons MUCH easier and mistaken identity a lot harder...

Re: s/o micro-chipping...

  • Very true. ?I wonder if this will become common practice in the future??
  • How would it make finding people any easier?

  • I would think that people who took children would find a way to get the chip out whether they hurt the child or not...and that kinda scares me.

Where would the chip be placed?

    Mommy to three adorable boys!
  • It's hard for me to think about this concept without also considering biblical prophesy about the "mark of the beast". A RFID chip could be used for both identification, tracking and currency.

  • Just the thought of microchipping people is giving me the chills.

not exactly like the ones we have in dogs that only hold info, but have these with GPS signals or something in them... I dunno. It sounded good in theory, but other posters are right-- the mark of the beast, hurting the child to get them out...

  • As with anything, what is intended to be used for good, can very easily be used for bad.

I think that if you start microchipping people, a lot of privacy will be lost, and giving people the ability to know so much about a person can very quickly turn sour, especially in the wrong hands.

Besides, the chances that my child is kidnapped or goes missing is very rare compared to all the other bad stuff that could happen to her, even when she is in my own care.  I mean, there is a very high chance that her or I will be killed in a car accident every single day.  That is just life.

  • TRUE!
