Getting Mixed Reviews

We're baically set on our names now but they are getting plenty of mixed reviews. So what do you think? ... It's Gwendolyn Cora (Gwen) for a girl and Adam Roscoe or Wiley Roscoe for a boy. Roscoe was my father and grandfathers middle names and we both really like it so were set on that. Wiley is a name in his family but we aren't too sure about it for a first name. We both lean towards traditional classic names.

I really like your girl name. And, even though Wiley is a family name, I would steer clear of it. No need to pass that name down. Adam Roscoe isn't bad though.

I had a friend in college named Wylly. It fit her, but since it was a family name and not spelled so close to Wile E. Coyote, it worked. But for a boy, I wouldn't do it.

Also, sorry, I hate Roscoe. HATE, HATE it. It's my dad's middle name, and he hates it, too, which I guess is why I hate it.

Gwendolyn Cora is pretty; I'd like Gwyneth slightly more but it's still an elegant name.

I like Gwen and Adam.  I am personally not a fan of Wiley though.  Sorry!

I like Gwendolyn or Gwyneth and Adam, but not Wiley. I think of Wile E. Coyote or a kid trying to say Riley, but maybe that's just me.

I love Gwendolyn Cora... so beautiful!  Both of your boys' names are great, too... but I'm not going to lie... I thought of the coyote, too   I love it anyway!

Gwendolyn Cora is fine, although I'd go with Cora Gwendolyn since I think Cora is way prettier than Gwen or Gwendoyn

 

Wiley is horrible.  Don't do it.  You must be hormonal  NOT a good name.

Adam Roscoe is great.

not a fan of wiley but i like gwendolyn. i don't know how it flows with cora but if you like it, that's all that matters!

I am not a fan of Wiley either.  I also prefer Gwyneth to Gwendolyn.  Or just Gwen.  Not so crazy about Cora or Roscoe.  Pick the names YOU like though - you are going to get lots of opinions.

I love Adam. Gwendolyn sounds pretentious to me. I don't hate it though. Wiley is NMS.

Adam is nice but not crazy about Roscoe. I understand it's a family name and you want to use it so I really wouldn't care what other people thought.

Wiley? I know alot of people w/ that last name so I imediately think last name and not first name. Not a fan, sorry.

Wylie Roscoe reminds me of "Wiley Rascal"  Adam's much better.

omg, i LOVE your names.  I like Adam Roscoe better than Wiley, but I still like Wiley.  Gwendolyn Cora is gorgeous and classic and uncommon.

Also, if you're set on your names, choose different names to tell people so you get the "mixed reviews" on your fake names...then, name your baby what you want!!!

I really really like Gwen but I'm not sold on Gwendolyn. (I much prefer Gwyneth)

As far as your boy names I guess I'm ok with Adam and Roscoe is ok because of the family significance but Wiley gets the big
