Abington OB/GYN

I am considering changing OB/GYN practices so that I can deliver at Abington Memorial Hosptial instead of Doylestown Hospital. 

Can you please recommend an office?  Does anyone go to Women's Health Care Group?  What about Abington Women's Primary?

I go to Abington Ob/Gyn Associates in Horsham.  They have offices in Abington and Warrington, too.  I love them!  i had a great experience there.  Many of my friends who to Women's Health Care Group and love the doctors.

They have an office at Abington Hosp and in WIllow Grove.  THey are busy and scheduling appts is sometimes tough but worth it.  Good luck!

I go to Abington Women's Primary, and I really love them.  They have offices in Willow Grove and at the hospital.  I've delivered 2 babies at AMH, and #3 is due 8/25.  The docs are great, although there are MANY of them.  By sheer coincidence I had the same doc deliver both of my boys.  Nothing but good things to say.  I've heard they have a waiting list, but I don't know how true that is.  Good luck!

I also go to Women Care but haven't had any issues with scheduling appointments (so far). I switched too (because I wanted to deliver at Abington and not Surburban). They have been great. My twin sister also goes to Womencare and they delivered both my niece and nephew. My sister had a long delivery with my nephew (3 days...long story) and they were terrific.

I also use the WomenCare practice and am very happy with them so far.

Just curious...why don't you want to deliver at Doylestown?

I used Abington Primary Women's Health Care Group and liked them. They do have a lot of docs, as well as NPs, and a PA and you will have to see different docs each appt b/c you never know who will be on call when you deliver.  I've met almost all the docs there and most of them are great.  Plus, they have several convenient office locations.  The front desk and office personnel are not super friendly, but the interaction with them is limited, so I didn't mind that too much.  I loved my experience at Abington Hospital.  Good luck in your decision.

i use womencare at the blair mill location.  love it.  they are all very nice there.

I am a L&D nurse at Abington and just delivered #4 there using Abington Primary. I absolutely love them all! They are excellent practitioners! That said, I also wholeheartedly trust the docs from Womencare and most from Abington Ob-Gyn. As a medical professional, women's health care group has a couple of docs that I find are quick to throw in the towel (c/s) for convenience but all are still excellent doctors. Good luck!!!
