If they don't come to an agreement by tonight, will your job be affected? I know you work downtown, but wasn't sure what you actually did. I hope not, but I'm thinking about you!

    Oh, I am fine, since I work for the county, not the state.  Whew! 

    My sister in Evansville works for the BMV though.  :(  I hope they can get something worked out because she cannot afford to not get paid for any amount of time with 3 boys!!

     Good deal for you, but not so good for your sister. Hopefully, they can come to some sort of agreement and she won't have to worry either!

    I'll be thinking about your sister, Mel!

     

    My BIL (husband of SIL who is expecting again) works for DNR so they're pretty worried.

     

    I just pray they can come to a decision... I think shutting everything down for days/weeks until they come to a compromise is going to have a worse effect on the budget than staying open till they reach a decision. Can y'all imagine if all the state parks close down right before the 4th? Major loss of $$$.
