PCOS on one ovary???

I had my CD13 ultrasound today and have a 15mm follicle in my left ovary but she said my right ovary may be polycystic. Has any one heard of this only effecting one ovary?

Our appointment with the doctor isn't until July 22nd so I won't have an answer until then.

    I just had a scan saturday and my right ovary looked fine and my left looked pco (like it had more than 10 antral follicles). This was after I lost over 20 pounds - when I was heavier, my ovaries both looked fine even though I had pco symptoms - go figure....

    At my dx u/s my right ovary had pco and my left looked fine
