FYI: I'm still pregnant!!

So, I went to the hospital Thursday to have an amnio done and possible c-section.  I was 37w 1d.  Her lungs needed to be at 55, but the results came back showing 43.  So I was sent home and I'm still pregnant!  I had a doctor appointment this morning and we're going to try again this Thursday, have another amnio, and if it comes back above 55 then we'll have the c-section.  I'll be 38w 1d!!  I'm praying her lungs are better on Thursday!!

wahoo!! How freaking great is it that the doctors were able to determine that she isn't quite ready yet? Yaaay for amnios!

Yeah!!! I am so glad they tested her lung maturity!  As the mom of a misdated 36 weeker (we all thought I was 37) who had underdeveloped lungs I am so glad they tested you for that.  I have been questioning this for next time if they want to take me early again for swelling issues.  

I can't wait to hear about your birth and beautiful baby girl!

Here's to a full term baby.  Its so great that you were able to make it to full term this time around.  It feels great -- doesn't it?  There's nothing greater than being able to walk out of the hospital with your new baby.  Good luck, keep us informed and hang in there.
