4. the best summer you ever had was when... Abe and I go married, probably. The wedding, the reception, a week on a houseboat, good concerts, etc. It was a great summer.

5. iced tea or lemonade? Iced Tea, for sure.

6. hamburger or hot dog? Both, actually. Grilled hamburger, hotdog cooked over a fire.

7. favorite outdoor concert you've been to: David Gray in '05 (I think). It was the best concert I've ever been to, hands down.

I haven't had one of these in ages. I do love ice cream sandwiches.

not any one in particular, but any summer before I was 16. No job, no school, no responsibilities, no cares! We'd go to the pool, the park, the zoo, go on picnics .... oh, to be a kid again.

4. the best summer you ever had was when...we'd go on vacation with my parents and grandparents as a kid. Those were the best trips. I can't wait to do that with Haley!

6. hamburger or hot dog? Cheeseburger with pickles and ketchup.

7. favorite outdoor concert you've been to - Coldplay a few weeks ago. It was hands down one of the best concerts I've ever been to!

4. the best summer you ever had was when... this summer is shaping up to be pretty good...but the summers of college were amazing. I'd like an weekday afternoon of Coronas and Buffett on the front lawn now...well, maybe in 5 or 6 weeks...

5. iced tea or lemonade? Ugh, iced tea tastes like eating dried grass. Lemonade all the way.

6. hamburger or hot dog? Grilled hotdog

7. favorite outdoor concert you've been to Nothing will ever beat an outdoor Buffett concert. I wish I could remember them just a little better. Dang margaritas.

in high school i would go with a friend to lake cumberland and spend a week or 10 days on a houseboat. we always had fun water "toys" too -- ski boat, jet ski, wet bike, hover craft -- ::sigh:: fun.

What my friends and I dubbed "the summer of love" - 1999. And no, it wasn't with DH!! :::blushing::: But I really think this summer, our first with Paige, is going to top it!! :-)

Cracker, Gin Blossom, and Spin Doctors. I was 14 and doing things that I wouldn't even think about DH's 15-year-old brother doing. And loving every minute of it! :-)

4. the best summer you ever had was when...wow, so many good ones! There was first-serious-boyfriend/drivers-license summer of '95, but I think I'll have to go with just-ended-a-terrible-relationship/went-roadtrippin'/bought-a-house summer of '04.

6. hamburger or hot dog? I'm a vegetarian, but I enjoy meatless versions of both. slight edge to hotdog.

7. favorite outdoor concert you've been to Man, I used to be a huge concert junkie back in the day. Excluding the obscene number of Phish shows I've been to and any music festivals, the Wilco show just last year at White River State Park (I was newly pregnant and we rode our bikes there on a beautiful night) and the Trey Anastasio Band show at Red Rocks amphitheatre near Denver in '01(because of the beautiful venue) come to mind.
