Dont get me wrong, I am excited and happy that we were able to find out so early, but at the same time I was prepared to not know until at least the end of July.
I found out DS at 13 weeks, but since it was so 'early' we kept it secret and didn't buy anything until our big scan later. But he was still a boy then ;-)
it's quite normal to be 14 weeks and not know what you're having. I had a guess at my NT with DD which turned out to be correct, but we never knew for sure or shared the sex until after the Level 2 u/s.
I feel like all the actual planning is on hold since I want very different gender specific things. July 31st can not get here soon enough!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

We found out at 14 weeks also, but kept it quiet (to folks IRL) until we had confirmation. It did feel strange to not even look pregnant and to know that we are having a boy!!!! It helped to make it seem more real to me!
Congrats on your little boy!!!!! )

It totally feels weird to know so early! The worst part is when someone asks how I know so early. It's usually followed by "Is everything OK?" UGH. So, I don't plan to tell anyone else until I'm about 5 mos when most expect you know by then.
Re: Feels strange to be 14 weeks and to know what we are having!

We had an ultrasound over the weekend. Little boy parts were very clear and visable.

Meech, did you find out through CVS or an enducated guess at the NT? If it's the NT, you could still be suprised
I'm jealous - my big u/s probably won't be until August and that feels forever away!

Me, too, E! I see all these tickers that are a week or two behind me and they're having their big ultrasound before me. I hate waiting!!!!
