Ladies who took B6 for nausea

Did you take 100 mg daily? How long did it take to help?

Re: Ladies who took B6 for nausea

  • I never had nausea so bad that I threw up, but I did feel queasy enough to try B6 (and sea bands!).

I took 50mg in the morning with my PNV, and my queasiness went away (for the most part) almost immediately. Once I started the GD-diet, it went away entirely.

I hope you're feeling better soon!!

  • I also took 50mg in the morning and if I felt particularly bad after work, I took 50mg more.  Feel better!
  • I took 320mg total - 100 w/ my b-complex, 200 b-6, and 20 in my pnv.  I never had any ms, and though I cant be sure I think that's why.

A book I read (Fertility, Cycles, and Nutrition) recommended getting nutritional counselling over 600mg/day.

  • I know Lauren took B6 in the first trimester and said it helped.

I'm taking 100mg/day right now so it's in my system.

  • Thanks!

I have the 100 mg tablets waaaaaaaaay back when I was trying them for LPD.

I took one last night and woke up not feeling sick today. Not sure if that's why, although I'm not complaining. It did take me 5 minutes to think of something that sounded good for breakfast though. ;)

  • I took 100mg 3x a day, along with a half to a whole unisom a night.  It was the one non-script thing that worked for me.
  • I've been taking 100mg since starting TTC, and it has helped tremendously.  If I forget to take it, I can tell...no fun :(
