Anyone's LO get a side bottom tooth in first?

Is this totally weird? My mom was having a fit becuase she said it was absolutly impossible for Bryce to get a side bottom tooth in first, but he cut his first tooth 2 days ago and sure enough it was his side bottom one.

Anyone else?  Did the front one's follow in quick?

    My DD is teething right now, and it sure as heck feels like the left side eye tooth that she's trying to cut.  We shall see, hopefully soon.

    Lily is showing white buds at both lower sides --- it's been that way for a month.

    My DD cut her side back teeth first at about 3 months.  pedi didn't believe me and then he checked and sure enough, I know what a tooth is.  I think shes cutting some more side teeth now but closer to the front, it's unusual, but...

    Yikes!  I just posted about teething, scrolled down and saw this.  I didn't know 4 monthers were cutting teeth already!  Now I got to look more closely at DS' mouth to see what's going on in there.

    I found the same thing yesterday. DD has totally not been herself and when I felt around in there, I feel little buds where both eyeteeth will be. We'll see, I guess. I'm hoping they come up soon - they've hijacked my happy low-key baby!

    DS is 6 1/2 months old and still has no teeth.  However, he has always chewed on stuff more toward the side/back of his mouth than the front.  He has little gum flaps over where his lower incisors will be and he also continues to have a bump there.  At his 6-month checkup the other day, the pedi said she thinks that the bumps are teeth.

    So I'm glad to see your post--I think DS is getting his incisors first, too!

    PS--Who has a photo of their LO with just incisors?  I would love to see that!  I imagine it would look a little like a baby vampire.

    hahaha, i'll have a baby vampire soon!  I'll post pics then :)
