Anyone get acne from injectables?

This is my 2nd cycle on Gonal-F and I have what seems to be 2 bright red, cystic pimples on my temple. ?I usually NEVER get pimples! ?And these are really odd-looking. ?They almost look like insect bites, but I haven't been bitten by anything! ?Anyone else?

Re: Anyone get acne from injectables?

  • i get those but on my chin with follistim and when i was on clomid.  as soon as i feel the soreness i use a rubbing alcohol wipe to clean the area - it dries it out.  wouldn't recommend if you have dry skin to begin with...  it doesn't always make it go away but it keeps it from getting bigger.  hth

  • I got it from something, not sure what.  My face is much clearer since I've been on a break.  Try Neutrogena Rapid Clear fight and fade gel.  It works the best of anything I've tried.
  • Through all of my treatments with Clomid and Follistim, my face has had it rough.  I feel for you because the pimples you talk about are the worst.  I use a face wash with salicynic acid (?) and it seems to help.  I hope they go away soon.
