Cankle question

When I was pregnant with Daniel, I got the swollen feet and ankles, but they didn't hurt. ?This time, the tops of my feet hurt when they get really swollen. ?Did this happen to any of you? ?I'd really like to avoid a trip over to L&D, and if I call on the weekend to ask about this, then that's where they'll send me.

    When I got super swollen, they hurt really bad. Almost like they were bruised. It was more around my ankles though...a similar feeling to having sprained an ankle. I never asked about it though - I just figured that's what happens when you get that swollen!

    Yes, all parts of my feet and ankles hurt with the swelling.  I remember begging DH for foot massages as that was the only relief I could get, and he'd sometimes grudgingly oblige.
