called doc - going to L&D soon!

After not having any contractions all afternoon, Brian and I went to the mall to get out of the house and walk around in the AC. On our way there, I started having pretty painful contractions again, this time about 6-8 min apart. While we were walking around, I kept getting them - they're between 3-6 min apart now.

Called doctor - he said we could head to L&D anytime but not to rush. He said especially when they're consistently under 5 minutes would be a good time to go in.

So, of course, because I'm a fatty, Brian is picking up dinner (Mexican - mmm!) and we'll keep timing them. I think unless they stop, we'll probably head to L&D after we're done eating.

    Hehe - well, with DH's birthday today I let him pick dinner. I just got something small. :) Hopefully nothing too interesting happens! :)

    Just remember if it DOES happen, it's no biggie.  L&D nurses clean that kind of crap (and yes, I mean that literally!) all the time!

    Oh yeah, not worried about it at ALL. I've given Brian fair warning and he just shrugs it off (he'll be up by my head the whole time anyway). I've never been one of those nervous nellies with doctors - they've seen it all!

    Good!  I wasn't too concerned about it, either.  I just didn't want it to fly out and hit the doc in the face or anything.  :) 

    Truly, you loose all modesty after giving birth.  During my first potty trip after Ben was born, a nurse crouched in front of me while I sat on the toilet, showing me how to use the squeeze bottle to clean myself. 

    I am SO excited!!!!

    lol ditto. I figured they did this to everyone. haha!
