Baby dropping into pelvis-

When is too early for this to happen? When does it normally happen?

I think that everyone is a little different, but it happened around 34 weeks for me.  You'll know because there is additional pressure on your cervix.

The baby can stay like that for a long time.  It's not too early.

Mine started dropping around 36  weeks but is still pretty high. It varies and if LO does drop it isn't a strict indicator of labor to follow so try not to worry if yours drops early. : )

I woke up yesturday "dropped" Im just rounding 31weeks this weekend...

I thought i was going crazy, my friend said something to me when she saw me, and i even posted something here asking about it yesturday too...

I sent my mom pix just incase and she agreed lol..

And my cousin said she dropped at about 30/31weeks also... maybe we're early droppers in my family lol, but shes about 38weeks now and still going strong

Mine just dropped last Monday.  A friend of mine who is 38 weeks now dropped when she was 35 weeks or so.  So, it can happen at any time.

Mine still has not dropped. My Dr said she just may not - some babies never drop until labor!
